A Night for the Bard - A Robert Burns Dinner at Sorrento

Each winter, the world pauses to raise a glass to Scotland’s most beloved poet, Robert Burns. At Hotel Sorrento, we do it the old way—by gathering around the table.

Join us for an immersive Burns Night Supper, an evening rooted in tradition and brought to life through music, poetry, and a thoughtfully curated multi-course dinner with Scotch and whiskey pairings. The night unfolds with intention: live musicians set the tone, candles glow, and the dining room hums with anticipation as the ceremonial piping-in of the haggis marks the official start of the feast.

Throughout the evening, poetry is recited, stories are shared, and each course arrives paired with a complementary dram or cocktail, guiding guests through the flavors of the Scottish Isles. From the rhythm of traditional music to the warmth of the room, every detail is designed to feel transportive—equal parts reverent and celebratory.

This is not just a dinner. It’s a ritual. A toast. A night to linger.
Come ready to eat well, drink slowly, and raise your glass to Robert Burns.
