Seattle’s Sorrento Hotel Announces Bow Wow Brunch
Special Sunday brunch on hotel’s outdoor Piazza to benefit the Seattle Humane Society
Seattle, Wash. (August 21, 2012) – Sorrento Hotel, Seattle’s iconic hotel located in the historic First Hill neighborhood, announces its Bow Wow Brunch to benefit the Seattle Humane Society. On Sunday, September 9, the Sorrento Hotel will team up with the Seattle Humane Society to raise funds for all cute and cuddly companions, during a very special brunch to take place on the hotel’s outdoor Piazza.
While humans may dine on the newly revamped Hunt Club brunch menu, Chef Dan Gilmore created a special Bow Wow Menu for pups to enjoy: a Doggie Pastry and Egg & Avocado Salad to start, followed by a choice of entrée: Wild Salmon and Sweet Potato Hash or Lamb & Quinoa. Pups can then wash it all down with a Bowser Beer (see below).
The Bow Wow Menu is available for $15 per pooch. Proceeds from the Bow Wow Menu will be donated to the Seattle Humane Society, which serves the people and animals of King County with a variety of programs including adoptions, veterinary services, dog training classes, a pet food bank, and humane education for children of all ages.
Additional sponsors include City Dog Magazine, which will provide complimentary copies of its latest issue, and Bowser Beer, a non-alcoholic, non-carbonated doggie beer. Bowser Beer will also offer the opportunity for guests to snap pictures – fun props and all – to place on custom beer bottle labels, a portion of the sales of which will also go the Seattle Human Society. To cap off the event, local band Shaggy Sweet will perform an acoustic set.
